Meet Our Senior Business Managers:
Bruce Hillman attended Waterbury State Technical College where he studied Environmental Studies and Management. Mr. Hillman started in the environmental industry in 1985 originally working for a hazardous waste treatment and disposal facility where he eventually became plant manager. From there, Mr. Hillman was employed by one of the largest waste management companies in the country. Mr. Hillman joined Capitol in 1996. He has managed hundreds of small to large scale, complex site remediation projects as well as the day to day needs of manufacturers throughout the New England area.
Ron Naar attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where he earned a B.S. Degree in Biological Sciences. Mr. Naar first joined the environmental industry in 1987 and joined Capitol in 1999. Mr. Naar has expertise in all aspects of material classification, beneficial reuse and materials management. Mr. Naar has managed small to large scale, complex remediation projects as well as the day to day needs of manufacturers in the mid-Atlantic.
Dan Albanese entered the environmental industry in 1991 and joined Capitol Environmental in 1994. Mr. Albanese graduated from East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, PA with a BS Degree in Environmental Studies and Biology. Mr. Albanese has extensive experience in consulting, sourcing, planning, estimating and managing small to large scale, complex federal remediation projects as well as the day to day needs of private sector clients.
Kim Swann attended the University of Delaware where he earned a BS Degree in Geology. Mr. Swann joined Capitol Environmental in 1991. Prior to joining Capitol, Mr. Swann worked for the largest materials management company on the East Coast. Mr. Swann has extensive experience in estimating, sourcing, contracting, coordinating and executing projects of all sizes and scope for Federal and Private Sector clients. Mr. Swann manages projects throughout the country as well as Puerto Rico.
Susan Schult attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where she earned a BA Degree in Communications with Honors. She later earned her MBA in Marketing from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Schult entered the Environmental Industry in 1983 and worked for two prominent Environmental Services Companies prior to joining Capitol in 2000. Ms. Schult has extensive experience in sourcing, estimating, planning and executing projects in over 20 States and Puerto Rico for the public and private sector as well as the day to day needs of her manufacturing clients.
Terri Fort is a Cum Laude graduate of Mary Baldwin College of Stauton, Virginia with a BA Degree in Chemistry and Biology. Ms. Fort joined Capitol in the fall of 2000 but has been employed in the environmental industry since 1989. Ms. Fort has extensive knowledge in sourcing, planning and executing small to large scale, complex projects in over 30 States for both the Federal and Private Sector. Ms. Fort’s expertise includes a wide variety of materials management but she has unique experience with the needs of arsenals.
Michael Mraz attended the University of Delaware where he studied Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration and Operations Management. Mr. Mraz has been employed in the environmental and solvent recovery industry since 1976. During this time, Mr. Mraz has been a Plant Manager at three different facilities. He is highly regarded and well known throughout the solvent recovery and fuels blending industry.
Luis Millan is one of two Business Managers employed by Capitol in Puerto Rico. Mr. Millan attended the Recinto Universiatrio De Mayaguez where he earned a BS Degree in Soil Management and Chemistry. Mr. Millan first started in the environmental industry in 1990. He joined and opened Capitol’s Barceloneta office in 1996. Mr. Millan has managed thousands of shipments from Puerto Rico to the States for the pharmaceutical industry and the greater Puerto Rico manufacturing community. He has managed Emergency Response projects as well small and large scale remediation projects as a sub-contractor for the EPA, Navy and other Federal Agencies.
Brandt Frenchman attended Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL in 1990 and later earned a BS degree in Environmental Engineering. Mr. Frenchman has worked in the environmental industry since 1992 and has a strong knowledge base in managing environmental sales and operations for multi-million dollar contracts. Mr Frenchman is a Certified Environmental Trainer (CET) and a Certified Instructional Technologist (CIT) with experience in providing oversight for health and safety protocols, regulatory interactions, remediation technologies, and waste characterization. He has extensive experience negotiating alliance contracts, project management and proposal preparation, developing business strategies and innovative marketing approaches.
Reggie Primm has more than 40 years of experience in the chemical/industrial realm with start-up, operation, maintenance and cost management of manufacturing facilities and waste treatment facilities, including wastewater treatment, chemical oxidation and incineration. Moving into sourcing, he used his vast experience to support the procurement of environmental services for several large manufacturing sites in the US and Canada. Managing the bid process, supplier selection, facility approval and contract negotiations, his experience as a waste generator and manager of permitted waste treatment facilities, gives him a unique perspective in the area of cost savings.
Mr. Todd has nearly a decade of combined experience in emergency response and data management, and in recent years has been a Senior Project Manager, coordinating large and small-scale projects within the Environmental Industry. Working on assignments from both commercial and private sectors, Mr. Todd prides himself on his work ethic and professional reputation, and continues to put an emphasis on client satisfaction. With first hand experience managing hazardous and non-hazardous projects, Mr. Todd is highly skilled at successfully navigating the various challenges that each unique project may present. Prior to pursuing his career with Capitol, Mr. Todd had the opportunity to coordinate and oversee various environmental projects throughout the West coast. His education includes BS in Natural Resources Management from California Polytechnic University, and a Masters of Science in Fire and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Mr. Todd is currently responsible for managing the environmental needs of clients throughout Region 9.
Adam Burton joined the Capitol Environmental Services team in August 2018 as a Senior Business Manager serving the state of California. Adam began his career in the environmental industry in 2009 as an Environmental Field Technician and was quickly promoted to Account Manager and then to Vice President of Sales of a 100+ employee hazardous waste transportation and disposal firm. He specializes in assisting clients with complex projects that require expert regulatory guidance related to California (Title 22), RCRA (40 CFR) and DOT (49 CFR) regulations. Adam has a comprehensive understanding of non-hazardous and hazardous waste and the various disposal facilities / methods available for these waste streams. This expert knowledge allows Adam to provide options to clients that are economical but also sensitive to their long-term liability. Adam graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo with a degree in Natural Resources Management with a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
